Welcome to my blog!

It’s here on this site that I hope to share my passion for seeking balance through the art of massage. I’m a firm believer that massage therapy can facilitate one’s innate ability to prevent disease and allow the body to heal naturally. In my practice, I incorporate acupressure, along with trigger point therapies, with the intent of opening up the energy pathways of the body. My firm yet calming techniques leaves my clients feeling a sense of tranquility and revitalization. I truly feel that I’ve found my passion in helping people feel more balanced in their lives through massage.

My wonderful family and I enjoying the outdoors.

My journey practicing massage began a few years ago. A graduate of Abrams College of Medical Education’s Massage Therapy Program, I trained in Neuromuscular and Trigger Point Therapies.  I am a Certified and Licensed Massage Therapist and a member of the Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals Organization. I currently practice massage therapy at I Am Yoga and Fontis Salon in Turlock, Calif., where my clients can find release through Swedish Massage, Sports Massage, Reflexology, Deep Tissue Massage, Myofascial Release, on-site Chair Massage and Shiatsu modalities.

In addition to being a massage therapist, I have many other passions in my life. One of those is my wife, Sally, and two wonderful sons. I love being on the Coast, and lived in Santa Cruz, Calif. for many years, but being near my family drew me back to my hometown, Turlock.

I lead an active life, and am involved my community in many ways. When I’m not working, I enjoy running, weight training, yoga, skiing, hiking, mountain biking and travel (to name just a few!).

I eagerly await your feedback, and encourage you to challenge my thoughts and offer your own insight on finding balance for the body and mind. I am always open to new ideas and hope to learn more (or at least as much) from your comments as you learn from my posts. I invite you to follow me on Twitter and become a fan on Facebook as well!

Again, thank you for visiting, and I look forward to our conversations.

Blessings!
