With Spring literally right around the corner and the sunshine teasing us these past few weeks, I wanted to do something special for my Facebook fans. A little Spring cleaning for the soul, if you will.
You might be asking yourself, OK, Curtis… what are you up to? I am giving away one free 60-minute massage to one lucky fan! Massage therapy relaxes muscles, easing and soothing your aches and pains. It rejuvenates — restoring balance to our body and being, making us better for all the things life throws our way.
How can you enter? All you have to do is tell me why you — or someone you know — deserves a session of relaxation and rejuvenation. To enter, leave a comment here or in the comments section below to nominate yourself or a loved one to receive the gift of touch.
I’ll review the submissions the weekend of March 19, 2010, select the person that I believe is most deserving of a free massage, and reveal the winner here on my blog on Monday, March 22, 2010. Good luck!
Blessings,
Curtis G. Souza
The fine print: Submissions must be posted by Friday, March 19, 2010, 7 p.m. PST. Winner must be at least 18 years of age and a resident of Merced, Stanislaus or San Joaquin Counties. Very cool, Curtis. As you know, it’s been awhile since my last massage! Right now I am fostering two very sweet pit bull puppies, in addition to being a “mom” to our other two dogs. It’s definitely a lot of fun, but it’s also a lot of work! It would sure be nice to get all of the knots out of my neck and upper back, and just zone out for an hour. 🙂

What an awesome idea for a blog post! I personally do not do messages but I would like to nominate my wonderful wife Cassie. She is a stay at home mom who chases our little ones around the house all day so I can work. I work a lot so she puts in the extra hours as well. She never fails to keep the house in order (as much order as there can be… lol!) and to have dinner ready when I get home. Not to mention the full time online classes that she takes, I know she doesn’t get much “her” time.
I couldn’t do what I do without her, and I know a pampering is always in order. Thanks for considering her for a free massage!
Thanks!
Chris

Hi Curtis, I am a mommy of a 1 1/2 year old, I work full time and my husband and I just bought our first home. Between my family, work and working on the new house I haven’t had much time to relax. I would love to be able to unwind and just forget about the world for a while and what a better way than a relaxing massage. Thanks for the fun offer!!!!!!!

Hi, Crutis
I would like to say that my mother needs a massage as she has never had one. She is 83yrs old and still works part time and lives in her own house by herself. My mother never does anything special for herself she just works and goes to church. i have always wanted to take her to have a mother/daughter massage and pedicure but times are rough. please consider my mother El Doris. Thank you Christal

Everyone on this earth has the inner longing to feel the sense of peace. In order to have complete fulfillment,it requires a person to reflect back on their life and ask yourself,”have I made good choices”? has there been something in my life that has made me become fearful of the submission to our hearts desires? Once a person begins to allow past issues to start buiding negitive feelings, then it becomes hard to let the mind/body/and soul to connect without reservation. Touch is one thing we all have to have to survive, beginning at birth.Love/ Freedom, Purpose, and a sense of Control, are four of essential needs
to give us balance. Im sure everyone has regrets of some sort,or anger that has tied them up from opening
their heart and allowing the freedom of negitivityto leave their soul.I believe very strongly that God has given all of us a gift. If a person digs deep into their soul they will eventually feel the desire to use it in a way that can help others as well as fullfilling a need of our own.Thats what life is all about.Curt you have a gift of healing hands,as well as comfort to those who are reaching out.Massage is their way of letting go of negitivity, and you give back a fresh start by releaseing it,and changeing their thought process in a good way.I have a real desire to help people in times of need myself in a different way,but its healing for them and for myself. When I heard Nana talk about the days when you were a little boy, rubbing her back, it meant so much to her. Shes beginning to feel like shes loosing her purpose in life, and that time is short. That has to be alittle fearful, and a bit empty. I try very hard to keep her spirts up,because I love her with all my heart. So, with that said she would enjoy going back in time, when you used to rub her back, more than you can imagine! She deserves a massage for being their for all of us, and loving us unconditionally……… Love, Robin

Its been too long to remember when the last time was that Ive been pampered in any way shape or form! I do my own hair, I dont have any nails to do because I work my fingers to the bone, my toenails are discussting, and I live day to day, sometimes with 50 cents for gas. Some days, I live off the land.If it werent for all of your family members, I may be sleeping under the bridge! At least I can say I have peace in my heart and thats what really counts in this world.
I think you should do a 2 for 1 for Nana and myself! Luv Ya, Robin…..

With money tight I dont get to get massages 😦 As a hardworking nursing student, mommy & wife, My husband & I both agree that I could definately use a massage & to be able to have an hour to myself for a change!~
🙂 Thanx, Amanda
